I am a counselling therapist (BACP member). I work with individuals providing short & long term counselling. My background training is in Psychosynthesis counselling, however I consider a variety of models within my therapy work. I tailor my approach to work with what my clients need at the time.
Having spent 18 years working in the financial sector, I am familiar with the pressures and demands that can come with this line of work and the effects it can have on mental health. I can help clients who are feeling overwhelmed with work load, experiencing anxiety, stress and panic attacks. These experiences can often affect our personal lives, particularly at home putting pressure on close relationships, causing depression, low self-esteem, and perhaps leading to a lack of meaning and purpose in life. If this sounds familiar, I can help.
I am also familiar with the pressures and anxieties young people face today, particularly in a world increasingly lead by social media. I can help navigate through the increasingly high demands you may be experiencing to “be someone”, “be an adult” or “be successful” in life. Together, we can look at how these demands are putting pressure on your mental and emotional health and find ways to discover your self-worth and self-esteem.
My fee is £70 an hour for individuals and £110 for couples. I offer a free 15 minute telephone conversation as an opportunity to further understand what I can offer and potentially how we can work together. My consulting room is in Central London EC4. I also offer online sessions via Skype and Zoom.
